St Michael's House is a community based voluntary organisation that provides services for people with all levels of intellectual and physical disabilities. The swimming pool is located at its campus on Belcamp Lane between the existing day centre and Belcamp Park. The design objective was to deliver a facility that could be fully enjoyed by people with all levels of ability, in a pleasant and fun environment. The challenging needs of the users and the requirements of those caring for them have informed all aspects of the design.
