The Irish Film Centre, located in the former Quaker's headquarters, houses two cinemas, the National Film Archive, bar, restaurant and offices etc.
The cinemas and bar are housed within the walls of existing rooms. The foyer, archive and projection room are new buildings.
In general, new elements are treated as installations, standing in contrast to the existing building and combining with it to create an appropriately lively environment for the viewing and discussion of films.
