Originally a semi-derelict school, this building has been given a new life and a new function as a family house. The decision to strip the existing plaster and expose the stonework, both internally and externally, has greatly enhanced the appearance of the building. The internal organisation cleverly reuses the original spatial and structural order. The entrance hall, with its Mackintosh influence, is a delight.
