The restoration of Turner's Curvilinear Glasshouse at the National Botanic gardens, Botanic Road, is a scholarly work of major significance. Its faithful adherence to the design and detail of the original building is exemplary as is the subtle inclusion of modern technology and the reuse of existing wrought iron. It restores to the nation a building whose loss would have been tragic.
