The architects have taken the classic grand stand building type and, with good planning, creative use of space, structure and modern technology created architecture in a building type that too often only fulfils the most basic objective of shelter. The steel structure is elegantly expressed and allows unobstructed views of the track.

The client's brief for the Greyhound Stadium initiated a design approach integrating a new image with functionality and architectural quality to be promoted in Greyhound Racing and related activities.
