Careful use of traditional materials, stone and timber has produced a house that is both elegant and robust. The plan is arranged around a well proportioned courtyard and provides gracious accommodation at ground floor wish is eminently adaptable for entertaining on a grand scale. And yet the architect has not forgotten the necessity for intimacy within this beautiful family home.
