RIAI President 2010 -2011

Paul Keogh takes up office as incoming President of the RIAI (Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland) for 2010 – 2011.

Paul Keogh is the founding partner of Paul Keogh Architects. Born in Dublin, he studied architecture at University College Dublin and the Royal College of Art, London. Before entering private practice, he worked for James Stirling, de Blacam and Meagher and the OPW. He has taught and lectured widely, in Ireland, the UK, Europe and America.
Established in 1984, PKA’s work includes architecture, conservation, interiors and urban design. The practice’s housing, education and urban design has frequently featured in major Irish award schemes, including the RIAI Awards, AAI Awards Plan Opus Awards, Glen Dimplex Awards, the Irish Housing Awards, the RIAI Silver Medal for Housing, and the Irish Planning Institute Awards.
PKA, in association with Group 91, also won the Union of International Architects’ Abercrombie Medal – one of international architecture’s most prestigious prizes – for their work on the masterplan and regeneration of Temple Bar.
