Entry Information
Submission entries for the RIAI GOLD MEDAL 2004/2005/2006 online only
Closing date for Entries online is Tuesday 28 February 2012, 12 Noon
Only projects designed by RIAI members shall be considered for the RIAI GOLD MEDAL 2004/2005/2006.
Entrants must be RIAI Members
Once you have submitted your entry you are unable to make any changes
Images
RIAI asks that all images submitted be in the JPG format. JPG is the most common image format used by digital cameras and other photographic image capture devices. It is also the most common format for storing and transmitting photographic images on the Internet.
All images should be no larger than 800px x 600px and saved at 72dpi. The optimised image should be no larger than 200k.
A photo editing program such as Photoshop Elements, PaintshopPro or Photoshop is used to edit photographs.
An Open Source (free) photo editing program called Gimp can be downloaded here: http://www.gimp.org/

Drawings / Elevations
RIAI asks that drawings and elevations be submitted in the PDF format as it produces a more accessible document in a smaller file size. Most CAD software have PDF export options.
Drawings should be CAD, exported from CAD as PDF, A4 size, editing disabled and web optimised if available.

Project Uploads
The zipped project submission should be less tha 5MB and should contain:
- JPG Images
- PDF Drawings and Elevations
- Project Description (1,000 words max.)
All should be archived in Zip format and named PROJECT_NAME.zip PROJECT_NAME should be replaced with your project's name.

Selection of Finalists
- Each entry must be submitted using the official online entry form.
- The information on the form will be used in all publicity
- The judging will be based on information provided on the official entry form and submission only
