St. Luke’s Out-Patient Department and Treatment Centre

St Luke’s Radio Therapy and Cancer Centre is the first hospital which has been visited by the delegates of the International Hospitals Federation on their Study tour of Irish Hospitals. The Hospital which is under the control of the Cancer Association of Ireland is financed entirely out of Hospital Sweepstake funds.

In addition to its intrinsic merits of planning and equipment it is particularly outstanding amongst Irish Hospitals for its very sensitive architectural detailing, and in particular for the very fine manner in which it has been designed so as to take the maximum advantage from the magnificent and beautifully landscaped site.
